From the 1940s to the 1970s, these hobbies were commonly conducted together by countless thousands of people in countries around the world. Never before has any book explored the dual hobbies of amateur radio and camping/RVing. Many campers took radio equipment with them to expand their range of operations and to visit other radio enthusiasts. Over 250 colorful, detailed, and fun images display both ham radio and camper-related items including vintage radio license plates, ham radio magazines, and a great many QSL cards and postcards containing a wonderful array of homemade and professionally prepared graphics.
