**Intact Gift Giving Condition book**
The equipment usually works. Data centre commissioning rarely fails for technical reasons. What fails is the management of the process around it, and it fails in ways that are entirely predictable: evidence created too late to be trusted, gates opened under programme pressure, dependencies discovered rather than planned, and defects that should have been caught at installation surfacing during functional testing, when there is neither time nor money left to correct them. This guide is written for the people who have to prevent that.
