**Intact Gift Giving Condition book**

I enlisted in the United States Army through the Delayed Entry Program. At seventeen, I made a decision that would change the course of my life. One year later, I left home to begin the demanding journey from civilian teenager to American soldier. From more than a thousand pushups during my brutal first days at Fort Dix to learning the precision work of a 44E machinist and metalworker at Aberdeen Proving Ground, I quickly discovered that Army life would test my strength, discipline, and determination.
