**Intact Gift Giving Condition book**

He refuses to allow his cousin to brood in a corner while a room filled with charming strangers surrounds him. A man of consideration in the world can afford to marry where he pleases… Colonel Fitzwilliam, home wounded from the Continent, accompanies his cousin Fitzwilliam Darcy to Hertfordshire and, unlike Darcy, arrives determined to enjoy himself. The colonel is unable to dance but he can certainly talk and his easy warmth soon illuminates the truth of the proud master of Pemberley. It is not contempt that renders Darcy silent at an assembly but an affliction of nerves that Elizabeth Bennet can recognise immediately as Mr Bennet suffers the same.
