This unabridged edition includes the complete apocryphal writings of the Ethiopian Orthodox biblical tradition, presented in a single comprehensive volume, gathering some of the most influential and historically preserved pre-Christian and early Christian writings ever recovered from the ancient world. A Faithful English Edition of the Ethiopian Apocrypha: the Complete Ancient Texts of Enoch, Jubilees, Meqabyan, Baruch, and Other Lost Scriptures Step into one of Christianity's most expansive collections of ancient Scripture through an English edition rooted in the manuscript tradition preserved within the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Preserved for centuries within the Ethiopian Orthodox tradition and lost to the Western canon for over a thousand years, these sacred writings reveal a vast cosmic narrative of fallen angels, sacred history, divine judgment, prophetic vision, and the unfolding story of God's covenant with humanity. Every text is presented in clear, readable English while maintaining its traditional structure and theological integrity.
