**Intact Gift Giving Condition book**

Lost in a Scottish forest since she was eleven, Avery has survived with only a small cottage, the surrounding woods, the fading memory of the old man who once kept her alive, and the hope that one day someone might find her. For ten years, Avery Mercer has lived with the uneasy certainty that something catastrophic must have happened to have separated her from her parents and the world she knew in 1995. Someone finally does. Grievously wounded after a skirmish with English soldiers, Highland warrior Morggán mac Ruaidhrí stumbles into Avery's secluded world.
