The Ethiopian Bible: An Ancient Faith Restored. While most Western Bibles contain only 66 or 73 books, the Ethiopian Bible preserves all 88 canonical books recognized by the Ethiopian Church since the earliest centuries of Christianity. For the first time in generations, the complete sacred canon of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, the oldest and most complete Bible in Christian history, is available in English with reverence, accuracy, and unmatched depth.
